In the spring of 1996, I was on a business trip to Canada and was invited to a birthday party by my friend J. She was six months pregnant, and I had expected her to look quite different from before. But when I arrived at the party, I was truly amazed—J looked stunning in a beautifully designed maternity evening dress, radiating confidence and happiness. Her appearance caught everyone’s attention, and even I, who had already given birth to seven children, couldn’t help but feel inspired.

Everyone around her was admiring how much more elegant and attractive she looked than before pregnancy. It reminded me of my own experience years ago, when I struggled to find suitable clothes during my pregnancy. At times, I had to wear oversized jackets just to hide my growing belly.
