The sorted plastic waste can be fed into a crusher for grinding and cleaning. Typically, a crusher equipped with a cleaning system is used. Next to the crusher, a platform approximately 1.5 meters high is set up, with a bucket placed on it containing the cleaning solution or detergent. A flow-controlled tube is used to introduce the detergent into the crusher. This ensures that the detergent (along with water) mixes well with the plastic waste during the grinding process inside the crusher. The ground material then flows directly into a cleaning pool. The cleaning pool usually measures over 8 meters in length, 1.2 meters in width, and 1 meter in depth. It features a drainage hole at the bottom and requires 3 to 4 channels to guide the ground film material. These channels help direct the flow of water effectively. On one side of the channel, there are typically around ten ∮4 mm holes evenly distributed along the 6-meter section, creating a directional spray when water is released onto the ground material floating on the water surface. At the opposite end of the cleaning pool, an automatic hopper is installed to direct the ground material towards the leaching area for further processing. This method ensures a thorough cleaning process while maintaining efficiency. The use of automated equipment like the hopper and channels significantly reduces manual labor and enhances productivity. Additionally, the design of the cleaning pool allows for easy maintenance and adjustment, ensuring consistent performance over time. The combination of mechanical grinding and chemical cleaning creates a comprehensive approach to managing plastic waste, making it an environmentally friendly option for recycling.
