WHY HOZEN?

When I first discovered Hozen, I was immediately drawn to their commitment to quality and sustainability. As someone who has always appreciated well-made products, I found myself gravitating towards their bags and shoes. After transitioning to a vegan lifestyle, it became increasingly challenging to find stylish yet durable items that aligned with my values. Hozen not only met these expectations but exceeded them; their designs are both practical and chic, making them perfect for everyday use.

My personal style tends to be timeless rather than trend-driven. I prefer classic pieces like tailored blazers, dark wash jeans, and neutral-colored tops. My wardrobe includes a mix of solids and subtle patterns, with occasional pops of color. Accessories play an important role in completing my outfits—scarves, statement jewelry, and of course, my trusty Hozen bag.

One of the most memorable moments in my life happened when I gave birth to triplets! Having three babies at once was definitely a whirlwind experience, but it brought so much joy into our lives. Raising three little ones simultaneously taught me patience and resilience beyond measure.

IDEAL DAY?

An ideal day for me would involve spending quality time with family surrounded by nature. Picture this: waking up to sunlight streaming through your window, enjoying a leisurely breakfast together before heading out for a scenic hike or bike ride along the coastline. The temperature would ideally hover between 65°F and 80°F (18°C–27°C), with just enough wind to keep things refreshing without being uncomfortable. To top off the day, we’d gather around a cozy fire pit under a starlit sky sharing stories and laughter.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR DOWN TIME?

During my free time, you’ll often find me catching up with loved ones, especially my grandchildren. Reading novels provides another great escape from reality, allowing me to explore different worlds through words. Walking or going on hikes keeps me physically active while offering opportunities to connect with nature. Cycling on my 50cc scooter offers both adventure and relaxation—it’s like meditating on wheels!

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

People who chase their dreams inspire me deeply. There was a period in my life where I struggled to identify what truly excited me, so seeing others pursue their passions motivates me to reflect on my own aspirations. Additionally, individuals dedicated to causes close to my heart—like embracing a vegan lifestyle and promoting environmental sustainability—are constant sources of motivation. Their dedication reminds me how small actions can collectively lead to significant positive change.

FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD?

Though I haven’t explored every corner of the globe, certain places hold special memories for me. One particularly unforgettable experience occurred during a hike around Jenny Lake in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park. The serene beauty left me feeling incredibly fulfilled. Similarly, Maroon Bells near Aspen, Colorado, in autumn remains one of my all-time favorite spots thanks to its breathtaking scenery.

GUILTY PLEASURE?

Sometimes indulging in something unexpected brings unexpected happiness. Whether it’s savoring a decadent dessert after dinner or watching guilty pleasure TV shows late at night, these moments remind us that life should include room for simple joys.
