Winter cotton polyester fabric orders increased

Recently, the order situation in China's textile city, outside of the main fabric market, remains weak. Transaction volumes for polyester-cotton blended fabrics are still slightly lower compared to the previous period. In the spring and winter segments of the polyester and cotton blended fabrics market, most small and medium-sized trading outlets have limited finished goods on hand, leading to insufficient spot transactions across the board. The sales performance shows a clear contrast between hot and cold items, with some large-scale outlets experiencing smooth winter and spring order deliveries. However, overall, the spot transactions for finished polyester-cotton blends have seen a slight decline from the prior period. Some mid-sized operating outlets continue to experience a reduction in orders. For instance, T/C 65/35 yarn 20S × 20S, 108 × 58 active printing fabric is widely used for making winter casual tops, suits, and trousers. Similarly, T/C 65/35 yarn 21S × 21S, 108 × 58 active printing fabric, as well as T/C 80/20 yarn 21S × 21S, 100 × 53 active printing silk, T/C 80/20 yarn 21S × 21S, 88 × 64 active printing yarn, and T/C 80/20 yarn 20S × 20S, 110 × 53 active printing color grid cloth, are all selling well at prices ranging from 8 to 12 yuan per meter. Some large-scale trading outlets are still placing bulk orders. For T/C 65/35 yarn-dyed color grid cloth and T/C 80/20 yarn-dyed plaid fabric, the volume of orders is still relatively high, with some major outlets receiving larger orders. The prices for mid-to-high-end products have seen a slight increase, and certain T/C fabrics with more reliable quality have also experienced a minor rise in spot prices. However, the spot prices for most staple products have largely stabilized. Overall, the market remains cautious, with demand still not picking up significantly despite some positive signs in specific product categories.
