On April 29th, the famous designer Ma Yanli took her series of works, Yunxiu Shangri-La, to the Shangsheng Xinshen Performance. As the finale of the “2018 Fashion Shanghai†series of events, Ma Yanli displayed 32 sets of clothing. The mysterious and magnificent Yunnan was moved to Shanghai.
The "Yunxiu Shangri-La" series is a series of high-definition brand works by Ma Yanli's latest national element and international fashion integration. She went deep into Diqing, Yunnan, to collect inspiration from the pure and splendid natural scenery of Grand Shangri-La and the solidarity and harmony of various ethnic groups. She also represented national costumes and ethnic elements such as Tibetan, Naxi, Sui, Yi, and Pumi in the Greater Shangri-La region. Perform artistic interpretation and create this series of works.
The show is divided into three series - "Blue Sky and White Clouds," "Green Mountains and Green Waters," and "The Sun and the Moon shine together." This shows the beautiful Yunnan image. Ma Yanli boldly innovates and reorganizes the forms, colors, elements, and symbolic meanings of national costumes, and incorporates Western philosophical expressions to integrate Chinese and Western cultures in this series of works. She abstracts fabrics and styles, expresses vibrant modern fashion language and clean national cultural connotation, and interprets this series of costumes as romantic and free.
At the end of the show, the vice chairman of the China Fashion Designers Association, the director of the Shanghai Fashion Capital Promotion Center, the director of the Shanghai Textile Apparel Museum, and Prof. Xiangyang Xiang of Donghua University awarded Ma Yanli the 2018 Shanghai Fashion Capital Construction Achievement Achievement Award.
Afterwards, Mr. Gu Honghui, deputy secretary of the Changning District Committee, and Mr. Zhu Min, Director of the Party Committee of Donghua University; Vice Chairman of Shanghai Fashion Capital Promotion Center; President of Shanghai Costume Association; Professor Liu Chunhong, Vice President of Donghua University; Donghua University Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shu Huisheng, President of Shanghai International Fashion Federation Mr. Ge Wenyao, and internationally renowned piano artist Mr. Kong Xiangdong and Ma Yanli together closed the 2018 Fashion Shanghai series.
So far, the 6-day 2018 Fashion Shanghai 24th International Fashion Culture Forum and the 17th Donghua Fashion Week have come to an end.
