China's footwear exports reached US$4.06 billion in January

Recently, the General Administration of Customs announced the import and export of China's foreign trade in the first month of this year. According to customs statistics, in January 2012, China’s foreign trade import and export value totaled 272.6 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of 7.8% from the same period last year (the same below). Among them, exports were US$149.94 billion, down 0.5%; imports were US$122.66 billion, down 15.3%. The trade surplus was 27.28 billion U.S. dollars.

Among export commodities, in January, China exported 4.06 billion US dollars of footwear, and exported 1.77 billion US dollars of luggage.
